Justine Inifer

Remedial massage therapist

Justine has 30 years of experience as a massage therapist in various spas and clinics abroad, interstate, and across Victoria.

Her career began at a VFL football club alongside a physiotherapist, and she has since continued to collaborate with physiotherapists, valuing the synergy between the two practices. Her clientele spans a wide age range, from 8 to 95 years old. Justine has cultivated a dedicated client base that values her meticulous attention to detail, her focus on achieving results, and her caring and intuitive approach.

Justine’s treatments are highly customised, and along with Remedial Massage, may also incorporate;

  • Acupressure

  • Myofascial release

  • Stretching and mobilising

  • Cupping and Trigger Point

  • Hot Stone and heat therapy

  • Sports Massage techniques

Whether it’s general muscle tension, stress relief, postural problems, pain, injury, post-surgery recovery, or maintaining peak sports performance, Justine believes that everyone can benefit from soft tissue release with Remedial Massage. She collaborates closely with the Physiotherapy team at Renew to provide her clients with a comprehensive range of options for achieving their recovery goals, maintaining wellness, and optimising sports performance.

Reflexology

Reflexology is an holistic therapy that focuses on stimulating specific reflex points on the hands and feet, corresponding to different body areas. Applying pressure to these points promotes deep relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. It naturally enhances circulation, supports healing, and restores balance. Imagine an hour dedicated solely to your feet; it’s a comforting and nurturing experience.

Justine, who trained in the Ingham Method of Reflexology in 2008, has observed that clients burdened with stress and anxiety benefit greatly from reflexology, often feeling revitalised and less tense throughout their bodies. Justine offers reflexology as a therapeutic treatment for stress.

  • I was inspired to pursue physiotherapy after experiencing injuries as a young athlete. The expertise and reassurance of my physiotherapist, combined with my passion for the human body and helping others, motivated me to follow this career path.

  • I love spending time outdoors in nature with my husband, two young boys, and our Aussie Shepherd. We all enjoy mountain biking together (though I suspect I won’t be able to keep up with them for much longer!). I also have a passion for gardening and love trying new restaurants with friends.

  • Andrew and I founded Renew Physiotherapy in 2012, driven by our passion for physiotherapy and a vision to create a positive, uplifting environment for both our staff and clients. Our goal was to create a space where clients not only received exceptional care but also looked forward to their appointments, in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

  • Having personally experienced significant shoulder injuries, I have a special interest in the assessment, treatment, and more specifically the rehabilitation of shoulder injuries. Additionally, my time at The Australian Ballet provided me with invaluable insight into foot and ankle rehabilitation, an area I now enjoy integrated into my treatment and exercise programs.
