B.Physio

With 15 years of clinical experience, Dan is a highly experienced physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. His passion lies in helping clients achieve their goals through tailored rehabilitation programs, with a particular focus on treating lumbar spine, hip/groin and hamstring injuries.

Dan’s deep understanding of sports, combined with his positive and proactive approach, allows him to design individualised treatment plans that effectively guide clients toward recovery.

Dan’s extensive experience includes working with elite sports teams, such as serving as the head physiotherapist for the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) Women’s Hockey Program. He has also travelled with Hockey Australia’s U/18 and U/21 teams. As a former elite hockey player who represented the Australian Men’s Hockey Team, the Kookaburras, and was a member of the Victorian Institute of Sport for 10 years, Dan brings a unique perspective to his practice. His firsthand experience managing his own injuries gives him a deep empathy for the frustrations athletes face during recovery.

In addition to his work in hockey, Dan has worked extensively with elite-level and school-aged rowing athletes, developing a strong understanding of the sport's demands and requirements. His established communication lines with coaches further enhance his ability to support athletes in achieving their best performance.

Dan has built strong connections with local GPs sports medicine professionals and orthopaedic specialists, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive network for his clients. Outside the clinic, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three daughters, especially supporting their sporting pursuits and joining them on fun adventures. He also continues to stay active in hockey, playing at the club level.
